Private Events at Florian

Located on the 3rd floor of the historic Lyric Opera House, The Florian is our take on a Classic Supper Club. The space is a triubte to the history of both Lyric, as well as the Civic Opera Building in which it is located. The space features a full bar and seperate dining room with standing room for 150 people and 100 seated. It has fully independent sound systems and the ability to deploy microphones and speakers in any part of the space. The Florian is only open for private events and performance dates for both the Lyric Opera and the Joffrey Ballet.

The “Foyer”

Best used for cocktail style events. Capacity 20-60 people. 

The “Curve”

Semi-private space for up to 15-30 people.

The “Bar”

Best used for cocktail style events. Capacity 15-30 people

The “Foyer”

The “Foyer” includes our main entrance area and the back half of the dining room. It has seating for 56 and standing room for up to 70 people. It best utilized for seated formal dinners or receptions.

The “Curve”

The “Curve” consists of the middle part of our dining room with multiple spaces for groups of up to 15 people. It is best used for seated dinners or combined with either “The Foyer” or “The Bar” for ancillary seating.

The “Bar”
